ABOUT RYAN LOYA
Rated by Command as an “Exceptionally Qualified” Marine for outstanding leadership and performance, Sgt. Ryan Loya has served ten years in the Marine Corps. He deployed four times, two of which were to Afghanistan. On his third deployment in May 2010, Ryan was Squad Leader of 13 Marines at Marjah. Lacking EOD support, he located the wire trace to clear his men. He was subsequently blown into a nearby river, and later awarded the Purple Heart.

A former project manager in property development, he specializes in customer retention and acquisition, and strategic programming for On Point. Having met critical roadblocks during his own transition, Ryan and Katherine have expanded On Point to include advocacy efforts.
